Don't knock it!
Ok, so it's a small meal, but it's tasty and packed with protein. My kids aren't starving, so just take your photos and move on so I can feed them this and head back out for more.

We didn't see only Mipits. There were some Bluethroat also, and this male posed particularly close and out in the open. Several Willow Warblers were similarly cooperative - especially the juveniles. We also saw a Short-eared Owl and a Merlin both hunting over a pasture as we drove in, but I didn't get shots of those unfortunately. We saw a few Reed Buntings, two Moose out on the bog, and a pair of loons on the lake (none of these close enough for my lens).

That's a fantabulous picture Ann - the light was just about perfect for showing off that throat. Nice one indeed lassie.
