Down the Hatch! (Certhia familiaris)

Last one - honest! Yesterdays was of it holding a sunflower heart in the end of it's beak. I missed the 'flip' but here it's in the crook of it's bill. ooks like it's tongue is doing a bit of readjustment before swallowing it hole.
Location
Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, Billingham, Cleveland

Scientific name
Certhia familiaris
Equipment used
Canon 40D+Canon 400mm f5,6
A brilliant Treecreeper image Ian. An interesting behavioural shot with a beautiful coloured setting. I haven't seen one for weeks. Good one.

Interesting - I did not know they ate such stuff! They never show any interest for the sunflower hearts I give my tits. I love the setting for this one - good to get some habitat. :t::t:

GREAT CAPTURE IAN! super timing. You can never post too many Creeper shots as far as I'm concerned.
