Downy Woodpecker

Downy Woodpecker (Picoides pubescens)

I've had a pair of these in the suet feeders pretty regularly recently. They're getting used to my being around and are less flighty than they were so better photo ops.

I had a female Red-bellied in this same area yesterday but the second she saw the lens move she was out of there. I'm hoping to be able to get some decent photos of them this coming winter season.
