Downy Woodpecker
The little fella seems agitated. Sadly, our area seems to be in the center of a bird flu outbreak. Everyone in the area is being asked to take bird feeders down and not to feed the wild birds for fear of spreading it. A few neighbours who were raising chickens have lost their entire flock. It's a terrible time of year for the wild birds to lose a food source. But I felt compelled so I took my feeders down about a week ago and now my yard is devoid of any birds. Since 90% of my bird photos is from backyard bird watching, I don't think I'm going to be getting much in the near future.

Aaaw!! You may think all your backyard birds are the same, but don't forget people on the other side of the world don't get the chance to see them!

Keep 'em coming Bill, please.
