Drake fight-_MG_3342
Early spring action on this creek.
Location
Anoka, Minnesota, USA
So typical Drake Mallards fighting over these poor Ducks in spring, which end up for the Ducks often being taken by force by the interloping Drake, resulting in drowning or severe injury in the process for the female. An interesting behavioural shot.

It seemed like the Duck was assisting in the attack of the interloper, but things were moving fast and haven’t studied this behavior before.
