This fearless Dark Eyed Junco I simply looked up and noticed. She was eating the important, but invasive, Prostate Spurge, that tiny seed-bearing plant that one often sees, (or does not,) growing along edges and in the cracks of sidewalks. This plant attracts nearly all seed eating songbirds here
