Duck Hunter (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

Bald Eagle captured with an OM-D EM5II with an adapted Canon 400mm/4.5 lens. The eagle was hunting diving ducks (greater/lesser scaup). The ducks would dive, and the eagle would circle, waiting for the duck to pop up. In the end, the eagle went away still hungry.

You seem to have observed some great behaviour between the hunter and hunted Dan and come away with a super picture of this eagle too.

Excellent work lad - very well done.

It's wonderful to see you posting again too.
