Dusky-Blue Groundstreak (Calycopis isobeon: Lycaenidae) Wingspan: 2.2-3.2 cm (0.88-1.25 in). Nectaring southern annual saltmarsh aster (Symphyotrichum divaricatum: Asteraceae) A native species but very weedy.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Post oak/yaupon dominated upland at ca. 88 m (269 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Park Nature Center, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
