Dusky Twinspot - Sngali sombre

Dusky Twinspot - Sngali sombre (Euschistospiza cinereovinacea graueri)

On the road to Ruhija, Uganda. A fairly common bird in its restricted area. Being able to see it in its natural habitat, and to get a decent shot, was quite a treat.

What a great picture you've taken of this Gallery rarity Emilie. This is only the second picture to come in here.

A great find for you. Very well done.

It's a clearer image than the one currently on our Opus article, so I'll upload your picture there shortly. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm back again Emilie - could you let me know when you took this picture... was it in November 2015 as well?
Thanx a lot! Yes, it was taken near Ruhija on November 14, 2015 exactly! First spotted by our guide, a wonderful birder with incredible eyes and ears :)
