Dust bath (Alectoris chukar)

Last weekend i was lucky enough to come across two chukars with a dozen chicks going for their afternoon "constitutional" among the orange groves at Skoulli. I was able to watch them from a distance for some time and it was fascinating watching them teach the young ones, who copied everything their mum did from striking a posture to taking a dust bath
