Eagle3 makes a close pass 1 (Haliaeetus albicilla)

Sorry I haven't done any browsing today. Been out on a long hike. Will try to catch up tomorrow when it starts raining again. Meanwhile, I think you'll agree that Eagle3 from our trip gave us some excellent views when he made that one last pass around the boat to see if he could get clear of the gulls and make a grab for the mackerel. For today, just the three best aerials I got from that close pass, then the story continues tomorrow.

p.s., on these three shots I've followed Mo's advice and lightened the shadows under the eagle's wings. Not much lightening I could do, but I did what my photo system allowed. Might have been able to do more if the university would let me upload Lightroom to my computer again :S

Three absolutely fantastic fly by images of this Eagle Ann!!!!!

You captured it perfectly girl!

My favourite of your trio,Doc,like the wing position, the open beak and the sharp eye,no more lightening of the shadows are needed here imho. Great flight shots.
