'Earie' Owl (Asio flammeus)

Sat with ear tufts raised. One of three and possibly four seen this outing. I'd just been watching two chasing each other around having aright arial ding dong when I came across another - the 'Afternoon Owl' uploaded yesterday. Once that one moved off I headed back to the car only to come across this one perched on rocks by the path. It sat for quite a while just staring at me - long enough to get a few photos before it moved to post to sit in the sun.
