East or West, Home's best!!" (Erithacus rubecula)

This little chap comes to my window about a dozen times a day for bits of suet, even when he has food of his own. He flew down whilst I was in the garden this afternoon and waited whilst I took this picture.
Many thanks for all your kind comments after I fractured my wrist, just had the plaster off and took this with a much lighter Panasonic bridge camera.

LOL Kim... not sure he knows which way to go!!

What a relief it will be for you to have the plaster off at last, now the exercises begin, eh?

You've done so well getting this lovely picture - onwards and upwards now lass.

An adorable setting (you have a weather vane friend too!) for this sweet bird. Great job Kim. Glad to hear the cast is off. Just don't overdo it for a while.

Great pose, perch, and detail, Kim; glad to hear that you're improving (I'll be interested to see what results you get with the FZ1000, as I've not been too impressed with examples I've seen posted. Although your pic looks pretty good to me)
