Near Montgomery County Fair Grounds, Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas, USA. Margin of mixed pine/hardwood forest at ca. 79 m (260 ft) elevation.

My husband has been editing our travel shots into videos. One of them includes a bluebird, and he just can't believe it's real. He thinks the colors look so artificial. Aren't birds adapted for camouflage ...? Nope. Some are adapted to attract mates, and some gals want guys in brightly colored "tuxedos" ;)
