Eastern Cottontail aka Peter Rabbit
Flicker the Halfling

Eastern Cottontail aka Peter Rabbit (Sylvilagus floridanus)

This fellow enjoys my backyard. Good eats in the form of dandelions and other weeds! Hopefully not the milkweed (which I have mostly at the front of the house) though, because that is harmful to them!
Habitat
farms, fields, open pastures, open woods, thickets associated with fencerows, wooded thickets, forest edges, and suburban areas with adequate food and cover. They are also found in swamps and marshes and usually avoid dense woods.
Location
Thornhill,
