A crossroads of the Edwards Plateau and the Blackland Prairies vegetational areas. Urban setting with small patches of native vegetation at ca. 236 m (774 ft) elevation; tame pasture.

love these eastern kingbirds, Stanley, they're so different from the other kingbirds. And you have a splendid photo of this beauty, with great eye contact, a real topper, many tfs!!
