Eastern Kingbird
Eastern Kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) I saw my first one of the year yesterday. We have an explosion of micromoths and grass moths this year and I think this Kingbird was moth hunting.
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetational area. Small marsh/swamp with small pockets of open water at ca. 91 m (300 ft) elevation.
Location
Blinn College Campus, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
