Eastern Yellow Robin #1

Eastern Yellow Robin #1

This was the first EYR I came across along the left track. My camera was still in my haversack but this bird was so obliging it stayed there and waited for me to take it out! Later I met it again along an off-track trail or perhaps it might have been a different EYR but that one was equally obliging and quite happy to pose for me. Will post tomorrow.
Location
Wilson's Reserve, Melb.
Date taken
April 2008
Equipment used
5D + 100-400IS
Lovely shot Broc.
You must have a magic touch. I have never known an EYR to sit and wait for me to set up my camera.

Many thanks for the comments.
Julian, I don't know about having a 'magic touch' but the wife thinks I am a tad 'touched' for continuing to take pixs of the same birds over and over again!! hahaha!

Very nice portrait! EYRs are beauties and really match the aussie environ - always a super sight.
