Had a lot of fun with the Bearded Tits at Lake Tkern especially as all the young males had moulted into adult plumage. It was frustrating at times though. They seemed to be daring one another to fly across the path without being photographed. They were very noisy and excitable at times. I have never seen as many Bearded Tits anywhere before.

Great image,Graham,like how his foot holds the stems together. Don't see these lovely birds often,i believe lake Tkern is the best place to watch them.

That's what the people at the visitors, centre say, Ove, and I have no reason to doubt them. There were certainly large numbers at the beginning of October.
