Emu
With a few old pals I was bush-walking in the Avon Valley, about 50 km east of Perth. We stayed on what was a grazing property, 1,600 acres of degraded pasture surrounded by bush. Many emus and kangaroos were taking advantage of the autumn flush of pasture.
