Enjoying the view (Dendrocopos major)

It hit me that I'd skipped forward and missed some of my best birding days, so I'm skipping back for a bit to share some fun moments.
This particular day I had taken a different route to Ringve. I walked via the viewpoints atop the cliffs (actually old soapstone quarries, sources for much of the original stone for the cathedral) at Kuhaugen. I'll share one shot from there - a GSW enjoying the view.
