Eurasian Blackbird (juvenile)
Taken at the care home in the aftermath of a downpour, in front of rainwater cascading into a drain. The first Blackbird I've seen this year, believe it or not. When still at the flat I heard them, but they wouldn’t show.

great portrait of this lovely youngster, John, the feather details and colours are excellent, and love the catch light in it eye, a real beauty, many tfs!!
