Eurasian Blackcap
Thanks to everyone for the Carrion Crow comments and reactions. I'm uploading this Blackcap while my laptop still works after a fashion - after each upload, it freezes (the computer, not the bird), has to be forcibly shut down, and restarted. But enough of that!

The Blackcap still warbles loudly and melodiously all day, as it's done since 6 March, right up until nightfall.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, stay safe and well, and good birding!

John

Deciduous, mixed and in some areas, coniferous, forest and woodland with tall shrubs, sometimes in scrub with taller trees nearby. Also in parks, large gardens and orchards. In winter occurs in a wide range of habitats with trees and bushes and a frequent visitor to garden birdtables in parts of Europe (Opus)

I've been having this problem John. Not with uploading my pictures but with the browsers freezing. It all started about a month ago after a Win update.

It settled down a bit after a friend worked on it remotely for me. But after about 3 weeks it froze again. This time Windows did another update. Worked for a few hours then froze again. Forced yet another shutdown and on restart Windows did another update!!

That was last Friday, since then it's just been minor freezes that have sorted themselves out.

Anyway... enough of all that.... you've a super picture of this Blackcap - done well for you recently, haven't they.
