Eurasian-collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto)

Smokey skies here from the huge (94 sq. miles) wildfire going on in our small county. I have to say that we have over 3,000 of the bravest firefighters and law enforcement people trying to keep up with it in very rugged country. I ask for your prayers that it's soon brought under control.
Location
Kelseyville, CA.
Date taken
07-26-15
Scientific name
Streptopelia decaocto
Equipment used
Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 100-400
Stunning shot Vicki, hope those fire fighters get the fire under control soon, and get it put out.

Lovely close-up, Vicki, sorry to hear of your problems, I saw a report on the news at lunch-time, let's hope it will soon be brought under control.
