Eurasian (common) blackbird
Blackbird, as introduced to Australasia, thus the specific naming. According to Wiki, placing "Eurasian" in front of blackbird is to benefit us in North America. What's hilarious is that this is basically just a black thrush. More interesting, although a bit of a digression, is that the American robin is also a thrush, and also a bird whose name was borrowed from a completely unassociated species from the other side of the pond. SMH, LOL!

Terrific ground-level frontal close-up of this handsome blackbird. Great eye contact, focus, colors, lighting, detail, and setting. TFS Jason!
