Eurasion Tree Sparrow (Passer montanus)

I photographed this little guy in Timor Leste recently. The locals there told me they had never seen these birds until Australian cargo began landing at the docks in the capital, Dili, about nine years ago. It appears they hitched a ride in containers and have since flourished and can be found extensively in and around the capital.
