European Herring Gull
Extremely heavy crop, taken from my window as usual. Storm clouds were moving in, but sunlight filtered between them, partially illuminating this gull.

Edit: this may appear a little overexposed, but as an image I think it looks nicer this way :)

You might want to play with your monitor screen settings to see if it makes any difference.
 
Some wonderful light to give this gull some great detail considering the crop. A brilliant well timed shot John, well done.

A wonderful aerial of this good looking gull. I like that pose you captured it in. You did a marvelous job on the exposure, white birds are notoriously hard to get the exposure right. TFS John!
