European Starling
Fowl Mouth

European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris)

Too many things wrong, here. A touch out of focus on the beak/eye. Chopped off the tail. Maxed out ISO. Shot through a triple pane window.

But, the bounce lighting off of my house, from the bright overcast skies made for some dramatic reveal in the feather colors. For that reason alone I figured it might be worthy of the gallery space. LOL

o:) Great to see that the American European Starlings are as beautiful as here!!! ;) In spite of all the "faults" you describe, it's a gorgoeus Starling pic, Jason, and made me smile to see this chap in your gallery!!! :t: :t:

Great window Starling,Jason! If all pictures were perfect and brilliant,we'd have nothing left to aim for. ;); This one looks great. :t:
