.... but aren't they pretty!!

After having had our cuppie at Hinterland, we then set off for a drive around the northern suburbs of Gold Coast, mostly around the Bonogin.

At one point we tried a walk into a forest, but it was extremely hot that day and after a short distance realised we weren't even [I]hearing[/}] any birds, so gave up on that idea.

So I now got a bit lost as to where we were but at one point we stopped again somewhere in this quiet suburb and I found this Galah foraging around some trees.

excellent photo of this beautiful bird, nicely showing its crest, Delia, top class, many tfs!!

If I were a Nikon P900, D.,
and I had taken a photograph of a bird as pretty as this,
I would be a very happy Nikon P900 indeed.
The pink and greys of the Galah go so well together.
Delightful.

I wouldn't mind being surrounded by these beauties and this is one smokin' image of this Gahah D!

A brilliant colourfully lit ground capture Delia. A wonderful detailed close up, well done.
