Fall guests (Bombycilla garrulus)

The day after I arrived back home, so did the Waxwings. Let me know when you start getting bored with Waxwing shots as I've got quite a few, not only from that day but from several further garden visits and a couple of encounters elsewhere around town. I'll try to be selective in what I share. Most were taken through our triple-glazing, so the focus is a bit "soft". Still, some days they came when there was good light.

Ooooh!!! Oh how lovely he is Ann... what a welcome home that was.

I think I heard some trilling to each other the other day, but they were out of sight unfortunately. Live in hopes LOL

Thanks lass.

Lucky you! I've never seen one so am going to enjoy your photos, Ann.

There's nothing wrong with some "soft focus", and as I commented on another of your fine Waxwing shots, you can't have too many when it comes to Waxwings. Too many Blackbirds or Blue Tits - maybe. But Waxwings? Never!
