I know this is not a perfect photograph, but I had to show it because of the fly in its claw. It took off, so I could not see how it ate it.

Option one is it swallowed the fly. Option two is it tore it apart before it swallowed it. LOL.
Guess you have a wonderful capture of it; despite the unpleasant situation of missing its meal.
