Farewell 2019 (Spinus spinus)

and welcome to the first Siskins at my feeders. They usually do come for a while in the winter, but this winter had been so mild that they had plenty of food they could access out in the woods for quite some time. Finally, in late December, they arrived in town.

We too have had a mild winter and the bird assemblage at our feeders has certainly been different, in species and in numbers. Gorgeous Siskin picture Doc! TFS!
