Welcome to Birdforum Bruce, nice to have another Aussie on board. Figbirds are one of my favourites, good one.

Thanks Trev.
I don't see them very often since moving to Canberra - but when I go back to Brisbane to visit my kids and grandkids I really enjoy viewing them again. Brings back many memories of growing up in the city!
Wish I had a decent pic of a male to post - they look spectacular with the black head and orange/red facial skin. Oh well - gives me something to aim for next time I'm up there :)
Bruce

Thanks targetman.
I don't take too many good photos but when I do manage some I'll try and post them to the Forum - if only to show off some of the birds we get here that are possibly a bit different to what people in other parts of the world are used to seeing.
Regards,
Bruce
