Female Chaffinch
This was taken between snow showers and I braved the cold to lean out of the window to get this picture.

And this image does seem to show how steep that slope is (it's only about 3 feet from top to bottom, but is almost vertical!) A few minutes after this, I could hardly see a thing through the blizzard!

Lol, it sounds as if you timed this picture perfectly between white-outs! That steep drop seems dangerous in slick conditions. TFS D!!!!!!

Oh what we do to get a good shot!! Lovely image Delia!! Snowing lightly in NY now! Hard to do this on the small screen with big thumbs! Lol!! TCd it!!

We don't see many shots taken straight down from hanging out the window ;) Good thing you didn't fall out into the snow yourself :eek!:
