female Pennant-winged Nightjar (Caprimulgus vexillarius)

Unlike her breeding partner she does not sport those amazing white wing pennants, and in flight shows no white at all on wings or tail. Common in this area, this one was photographed with the red globe of the setting sun behind me - actually shows nicely as a reflection in her eye, together with silhouette of a tree!
