Photographed with post-sunrise light behind me, the dark band across the back is the shadow of a tree trunk. Did not get a good look at this one in flight, so uncertain of ID - not totally convinced it is a female Pennant-winged, so any nightjar boffins out there please help. Other possibles from the area could be Fiery-necked, Freckled (both heard at night here), Swamp, Square-tailed, Eurasian or Rufous-cheeked - but none of them seem to fit the bill, so perhaps it is a Pennant-winged. Actually photographed only 200m from my previous post, of whose ID I am much more sure.
