Female Resplendent Quetzal (Pharomarchrus mocinno)

This female was part of a pair that were hanging out near the entrance to the Monteverde reserve while we were there. Unfortunately this was the best picture of either I could get, and only because it was through guide Ian Watson's sweet Leica spotting scope.
