Looks like it may be a cross but it does seem to have a bit of a look of a White faced Whistling Duck to it.

No idea but its a Cracking shot love the colours and detail.

It's a super shot but I don't know what it is. Probably some kind of hybrid.

This is a South African or Cape Shelduck Female, the male has a completely gray head.

Wow! a South African Shelduck in South Cheshire. Thanks so much everyone for you kind comments and to you sjeyring for identifying it for me. No wonder I couldn't find it under UK bird varieties. Global warming is definately altering the wildlife we see.
