females fighting for a male (2 of 2) (Rostrhamus sociabilis)

The upside female was perching on the top of the tree when it was knocked down by the fast and vicious attack.

Again the action was so fast that I mess up settings and composition.

Wow, I knew the males fought but not the females. Super shot, Raul. :t:
 
Wicke shot Raul. Even with perfect light to freeze them in action would make the shadows too dark. It may not seem to the naked eye but they are actually very quick in their movements. Incredible the acrobatics that they make look so mundane.
