Festive Jay

Trying to get a seasonal photo of a jay with some snow and Christmas lights on the branches and stuff like that, but they're still very cautious about me. This one decided to land on this tree when I was way down in the far corner of the yard, so this is a zoomed way in and has a large crop on this photo. I'm hoping they will get more used to me as time goes by and not be so jumpy when I'm outside. Time will tell.

.... and you've sure succeeded with this shot... such pretty lights you've put up on that tree, and the snow on them is a very nice touch too;)

Nice work here Wview... many thanks.

Very decorative! As for trusting you ... Jays are smart birds. When they've seen you putting out food for them, they'll soon realize it makes sense to come closer, if only to get first pick ;)
