Field of crows (Corvus cornix)

I was trying to capture how packed with crows this field was. Not entirely successful, certainly far from a Van Gogh :eek!:, possibly because I got distracted by the sparrows, rooks, and woodies - all gathered in their different patches of the field, feasting on grain dropped by the harvester maybe just the day before.

LOL a bit of a feeding frenzy going on there!

I know what you mean about getting distracted by other birds... happens to me all the time Ann! Worst one was when I was distracted by a snipe I flushed from underfoot, only to miss the Corncrake everyone else saw and I've still not seen!!!
