Field Sparrow (spizella pusilla)

Plain as vanilla, this little sparrow is not found in cultivated fields, but overgrown pasture, brushy woodland edges, and is very easily missed as it stays low and out of view.

I really love these sweet little sparrows. A few years ago I had one that stayed all winter with the flock of White-throated Sparrows and Juncos. It was much smaller than the other birds and would wait its turn in the feeder.
 
You did well to spot this one. A delightful shot of this unassuming little Sparrow in some superb habitat. Nice one Teto.
 
Brilliant bit of spotting Teto, beautiful setting too for this lovely wee bird.
