Blackland Prairie vegetation area, disturbed roadside with patches of giant reed (Arundo donax: Poaceae) ca. 210 m (689 ft) elevation.

Southeast of the Bell County Expo Center, Belton, Bell County, Texas, USA.

Sweet! And now I've studied up on what to look for to tell Field from Chipping if I'm ever birding east of the Rockies again.
