Fiery Skippers (Hylephila phyleus: Hesperiidae) Wingspan 2.5- 3.5 cm (1.0-1.4 in). Nectaring Gregg’s Mist Flower (Conoclinium greggii: Asteraceae).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Post oak/yaupon dominated upland at ca. 88 m (269 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Nature Center, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
