Fighting kittiwakes

These two birds were fighting repeatedly for the sitting post on the cliff of Runde Island in Norway in June 2008. I was surprised how aggressive these birds can eventually be!
When the one flew on the spot, the other one immediately attacked it and both were falling down in whirling, terribly looking fall. Sometimes they even hit the cliffs 10m below! It was horrific fight!
