Here's an image from this autumn when there were 2 water rails fighting right outside the hide!

OUCH!!!!,i am glad I am not on the receiving end of that wicked looking beak.The mud is not helping, as the poor bird at the receiving end cannot get a grip.Good shot,excellent timing.
 
It looks like a dual to the death by two gladiators! You've struck gold with this shot - amazing!
