Very nice image, KC. The lighting looks to have been tricky, with the bird partially in shadow, but it works well and you've got the highlight in the eye, which always brings a pic to life. Well done also for being quick to get a shot when it was momentarily still (in the UK, I find Goldcrests in particular very difficult to photograph, for the same reason) Shots like this take real skill.

The look on this bird, the lighting, and that blue backdrop, have got my jaw dropping on this one, KC.
