Finding thermals
I'd been home nearly and month and finally caught up with everything. A fine day found me with itchy feet, so off to see what Gallowbank had to offer.

Still too much foliage to find the wee guys in the hedges and trees, though I did briefly spot a couple of Bullfinches on the path, they disappeared before I could get close enough for a picture when someone approached from the other direction (d****it);)

However, a few yards further on up went a Buzzard from a nearby stand of trees. This is actually a favourite spot for them, as they get nice thermals here off the side of the hill.

Pretty high up, maybe one day I'll get one closer in.
