Firebug (Pyrrhocoris apterus)

We have had a continuous dust storm for the last two weeks. It's not been too good for bird photography so I turned my hand to insects. Unfortunately I don't know many insects so hopefully someone could tell me what this is.

Thanks to Tim Taylor for the ID.
Habitat
Farmland
Location
Badaan Farm, Bahrain
Date taken
19th June 2008
Scientific name
Pyrrhocoris apterus
Equipment used
Nikon D300, Nikon 105mm macro
Maybe a Firebug - Pyrrhocorus apterus according to Collins Field guide - Insects of Britain and Northern Europe. Of course it may be a different variety in Bahrain. Nice shot!
