First of a few (Milvus milvus milvus)

I had to go to Stracathro at the end of August, and on the way back we took the scenic route.

After a stop to eat our lunch, we set off again and before too long I spotted a Red Kite hunting across a field beside the road. Stopped to take some pictures.
